NDUGA - In a heartwarming gesture to mark the 38th anniversary of Yonif Para Raider 432/Waspada Setia Jaya Kostrad, the Infantry Battalion Task Force under the HABEMA Operational Command in Papua distributed basic necessities to residents of Mbua Village, Nduga Regency, Papua Highlands Province. The initiative took place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, during a Social Communication (Komsos) activity led by First Lieutenant Infantry Fahrizal Himmi Fau at the Mbuwa Post.
This meaningful act is part of the ongoing Border Security Operation along the RI-PNG border area. In line with directives from the Commander of Satgas Yonif 432 Kostrad, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Zulfikar Akbar Helmi, the activity aimed to extend the unit’s gratitude and compassion to the local community. "Our unit’s anniversary is not just about celebration; it’s an opportunity to share joy and strengthen our bond with the people. May Yonif 432/WSJ continue to excel in its service to the nation, " said First Lieutenant Fahrizal Himmi Fau.
The event was met with heartfelt appreciation from the villagers. Smiles and gratitude filled the air as soldiers handed out essential food packages. A local elder, Yones Gwijangge, expressed his deep thanks, saying, "Praise the Lord! Thank you, Commander 432, for the gifts. May God bless all of you."
